‘For London this is for London, cause Camden Town ain’t burning down’
In the Amy Winehouse Famous London Quote she was referring to a fire that had broken out in Amy’s much loved Camden market Hawley Arms pub on the 9th February 2008. However it was a planned quote and was written in to her Grammy notes.

This was all on a list of people to thank before she went In, should she win. The ‘Camden Town Ain’t Burning Down’ famous battle cry was actually written on some typed notes that belonged to Amy. This was auctioned in December 2015, it included Grammy Awards backstage passes and a dressing room signs.
On the note It included two reminders to thank her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who was in prison at the time.
This Memorabilia of the Amy Winehouse Famous London Quote was bought by Hard Rock Hotel and is now on display in the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.
