Visit Park Row The Gotham City-themed hidden underground restaurant in London
If you fancy being transported into Batman’s metropolis, then a dinner reservation at Park Row will be just for you. Park Row is a fine dining establishment in a former hotel, and it has been transformed into an underground wonderland with cocktails and dishes inspired by Bruce Wayne’s life and early years.
Entering Park Row is an immersive experience, as you are greeted by an entrance designed as a mahogany library with a hidden bookshelf door. The ambience is set with a winding staircase, flashing lights, and eerie music, reminiscent of the iconic entrance to the bat cave.

The staff, dressed in smart velvet jackets, warmly welcome you as you step into The Penguins Iceberg Bar. A prominent ice sculpture penguin stands proudly amidst a cloud of nitrogen, adding a touch of grandeur. The decor exudes luxury, immersing you further into the feeling of being in Art Deco Gotham City before it falls into villains’ hands.

The menu subtly pays homage to the Wayne family with rib eye called from the Waynes estate and the Jokers Kiss.
Dessert is worth trying here too. Park Row is renowned for its theatrical pudding presentations, and the “kiss from a rose” is a prime example. It features a vanilla custard tart accompanied by lychee ice cream, with the added spectacle of your server freezing a rose in nitric acid at your table for garnish.

Do not forget to try one of the amazing themed cocktails while you are there too such as the blue boy that pours from a painting which is one of the restaurant’s hidden easter eggs ( reportedly there are 18 to find ).
