Did you know that you could find a statue of Mr Bean the famous comedy character in Londons Leicester square? The Mr Bean Statue is great fun to find and you can even sit with him for a Selfie. He was placed there as part of the Leicester Square Scenes in the square project which celebrates famous British film characters. The sculpture was for the celebration of 30 years of Mr Bean. Mr Bean ( portrayed by Rowan Atkinson ) is one of the most famous comic creations ever.

Where is the Mr Bean Statue in London?

The Mr Bean Statue is seated on a bench in Leicester Square, London. He faces the middle of the square towards the TKTS Ticket booth. He is free to view and you can go and sit next to him with your lunch or to take a photo.

Who is Mr Bean?

Mr Bean is a British sitcom created by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis. Mr Bean is produced by Tiger Aspect and stars Atkinson as the main title character.

Why not sit on a bench next to a life size Mr Bean? The comic performer’s bronze statue Rowan Atkinson sits happily in the gardens waiting for selfies with film fans.. There were only 15 television series of Mr Bean before he hit the big screen after Rowan’s character Mr bean was created in 1990.

The Mr Bean sitcom consists of 15 episodes as well as two full feature-length films. Rowan Atkinson plays the role of Mr Bean in all episodes and both films.

How to get to the Mr Bean Statue

The Mr Bean Statue is just a two minute walk from China Town.

The closest Tube station is Leicester Square Station and just a few minutes walk.
