Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park 2022
The biggest markets of them all is the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Winter Wonderland is open from November 19 of January the 3rd and is one of the most classic Christmas markets you’ll find in London. Not only is Winter Wonderland a Christmas market. The Winter Wonderland has over 100 Bavarian style stalls. It’s also has a huge theme park with the London U.K.’s largest outdoor ice rink. It has fairground rides, German beer tents and so much fun for all of the family. The main attraction is free but you will need to pay for extra attractions at the market.
The festivities for Winter Wonderland 2022 will begin on 19th November – 3rd January 2022, open daily 10:00am – 10:00pm except Christmas Day (elves need a break too!).

Nearest Tube: The nearest tubes to winter wonderland are Victoria, Bond Street, Green Park, Paddington, Knightsbridge, Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner.

Leicester Square Christmas market
Leicester Square Christmas market is in the heart of the West End right near Chinatown, Theatre-land, soho and Covent Garden. This is one of my favourite markets and it fills the whole of Leicester Squares park. This has a massive choice of stalls selling christmas gifts and decorations as well as food and drinks. The trees are lit all around and the whole place just sparkles. You will find an abundance of Christmas stalls here selling gifts, toys and food.
Drink Mulled wine and Christmas food all under a blanket of twinkling stars. Leicester Square market even has a Santas grotto, but you need to purchase extra tickets for this.

Winter at the Urban Spoon Market
This is one of the Southbank’s Christmas markets. The Christmas market is held on the Southbank near the National Theatre. It is more of a traditional German Christmas market with beautiful wooden chalets filled with lights and music. There’s a carousel right nearby a huge Christmas tree and here you can get your mulled, wine or cider, or even or crêpes. Winter at the Urban Spoon Market is a brand new 11 week Christmas market between on the prime arts trail between Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe
If you are looking for delicious street food and quality commodities in festive cabins.This brand new Winter market along the River Thames Southbank is perfect! On the prime arts trail between Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe on to the National Theatre. Its an amazing scenic route to the London Eye.

Christmas at Paternoster Square
Christmas at Paternoster Square right next to St Pauls Cathedral will run from 14thNov – 23rd Dec 22
On the doorstep of St Pauls Cathedral, central in the heart of London is a lovely Christmas market in Paternoster Square. Surrounded by a vast number of offices and iconic buildings, including the London Stock Exchange. There will surely be lots of stalls to entice the influx of tourists, office workers and Londoners alike.

Christmas by the River at Borough
Christmas by the river is held at Bankside. It’s a really lovely spot to go to a Christmas market in London. Against stunning back drops of some of London’s most iconic locations! From Tower Bridge, to Hays Court Galleria. It has Brand new cabin designs to make this years market stand out. There are lots of different stalls see a list below.
With views of the of the Thames, Tower Bridge on one side and the Shard on the other. You can surely not fall in love with this fabulous Christmas market with all of its regular stalls from woolly coats and scarves and Christmas gifts and Christmas toys. You can find it all here in one of London’s prettiest markets with a view of the shard right behind it. It also has a huge undercover bar.

Greenwich market is a fabulous all year round market. At Christmas it really comes in to its own. Greenwich Christmas market has over 120 stalls and is actually a world heritage site as well. It is undercover which makes it even better to say to shy away from the weather. There’s lots of street food stores as well and lots of places to eat around the edges. Covent Garden market Winter Warmer festival
Covent Garden market is a market all year round but at Christmas it is the perfect place to go when it comes to festive markets. Expect to visit the market with Snow falling beautiful lights and a truly festive feeling. The covered market and Piazza is beautiful with huge mistletoe and giant baubles with twinkly lights.
There is always something going on at Covent Garden from Lego themed attractions frozen decorations and an hourly snowfalls in the piazza. Magical photo moments will be popping up around the Piazza this year for Christmas in Covent Garden too!
There are an abundance of homemade artisan gifts too making it the perfect place to find the perfect gift.
The Winter Warmer Festival at Covent Garden
This year Covent Garden will have over 25 varieties of mulled wine being served across the piazza. This festive treat will see piazza pop ups and in-store experiences serving tipples to keep you feeling cosy this winter.
November will be the best place to come to Covent Garden with hot chocolates, mulled wine, cocktails with a twist and hot sweet treat desserts.
The Christmas Sandwich Festival
In the Garden Piazza in participating restaurants Covent Garden will be enjoying a Christmas Sandwich Festival. Enjoy all the trimmings served in a bun as you wrap up warm for a toasted treat. Various place in tHe Piazza or at London’s best covent Garden restaurants will be serving Christmas flavours in a sandwich specials.

Southbank Christmas market
Winter Market at Southbank Christmas market is in a spectacular views along the Thames. With views of the London Eye. straight through vendor is serve street, food, mulled, wine, festival, goodies and gifts. There are only a handful of Stalls so in my opinion this is probably not worth going out of your way unless you are in the area. The stalls are mainly street food stalls.

There are only roughly 20 stalls at the Southbank Centre Christmas market they consist of some of the following but not limited too;

Christmas at borough market
Borough market is an all year round markets and one of the oldest ones in London. Borough market is not a regular Christmas market but one you definitely need to visit at Christmas. Christmas at borough market is particular festive and is a wonderful way to start your christams off. If you are planning a christmas dinner or party here is the place to get your cheese’s, artisan bread, homemade chutneys and all of the christmas trimmings.
A Huge Christmas tree is in the heart of the market. The whole market is decorated and the market traders serve festive food and drink. You can definitely find yourself a Mulled wine here too!

Kingston Upon Thames Christmas market
Kingston Upon Thames Christmas market is a traditional European-style Christmas market in a traditional British setting. Get into the festive spirit at Kingston Christmas Market which is one of the most magical Christmas markets in London.
The whole, street is decorated with twinkling lights and Christmas trees. You can enjoy a mug of mulled wine and choose from an assortment of delicious food to get you in the Christmas spirit.
There is a carousel for the kids and you can listen to classic Christmas carol singers and live music throughout the day.
You can even have a go at curling on one of the Bavarian Curling Lanes in the grounds of All Saints Church. There is so much to do for the whole family!

Selfridge’s Christmas Market on the Mews
Selfridges Christmas market is a relatively new market and it’s only been running for a few years. You can find it directly behind Selfridge’s itself. They’ve managed to pack so much into a small street, including a full-size Helter skelter. The market is free to enter and is filled with stores for street food and Christmas feasts.
You can even get your perfect Christmas tree on the mews too. Florists Moyses Stevens has a whole forest to choose from! There are also visits from Santa!

Kings Cross Christmas market at the Crossing
Crafty fox is all year round market to buy at Christmas really comes into its self with a festive display popped under a canopy at Kings Cross. The Crossing in Kings Cross is a mega one day Christmas Market featuring over 100 selected traders. Get all your Christmas shopping sorted in one go at this beautiful artisan Christmas market. With stunning Crafts and beautifully hand made gifts it is a real gem!
The Crossing can be found inside The Granary Building, by the entrance to Central Saint Martins. It’s a 5 minute walk to Kings Cross station.
